New School Year Registration

All online registration procedures must be made no later than August 21, 2017.

In order for your student to have access to the computer lab for class assignments this MUST be completed.

It will also give the school access to emergency contact information, health information and will allow you to pay for lunches online.

In order to enroll for the current school year you must complete the following steps:

1. Go to foxhollow.jordandistrict.org

2. Click on “School Life”

3. Click on “Gradebook/scheduler”

4. Click on “Login to FAMILY ACCESS”

5. Enter your Parent “login” and “password.” Online enrollment can only be accessed using the PARENT login and password.

Please note that our records indicate that you have previously changed your password in Skyward.  Once you change the password, we are no longer able to see it.  You will access Skyward using your parent login and password from last year.  If you have forgotten your information, please follow the instructions above and when you reach step 5, click on the blue link: “Forgot your login/password?”  It will then help you reset your information.

Once you have logged into your Family Access, click on the tab ‘Registration for School’ and choose the student for whom you wish to verify enrollment. This will be done for each of your students at our school.

You are now ready to begin the 13-step process to register your student. Please note that this will need to be completed for each student you have at Fox Hollow.

**Parents, if you are  having problems getting beyond steps 7 & 8, we have found that if you are using Google Chrome you will need to minimize the window, not close it.  The parent will then be able to complete that step and move to the next step. Or you can change your browser and try again.

Change Wars!!

Congratulations Fox Hollow Red Tails!  Student Council sponsored the Change Wars this last week raising $687.06 in only 5 days from our Super BOWL of Change Wars.  This benefits the Principal’s Pantry for our community.  Way to Go Fox Hollow Red Tails!

Kindergarten Orientation 2017-2018

Kindergarten orientation will be held on Friday March 17th at 2:30 pm. Please bring your kindergartener to check things out and have some of your questions answered. We look forward to meeting all our new Fox Hollow Kindergarteners!


Kindergarten Registration 2017-2018

If you have a child that will be five years of age on or before September 1, 2017, the child qualifies for next year’s kindergarten program.  State law requires that all school districts in Utah abide by the same September 1st entrance cut off date.  You will be required to provide the child’s immunization record and a certified birth certificate.

This year kindergarten registration will be completed online. If you would prefer a paper copy of the registration, one can be picked up in the office. Please share this information with any neighbors you may have with a qualifying kindergartner.


French Immersion Applications

French Immersion Applications are due by Friday, February 24th, 2017 at 4:00 pm in the main office.

French Immersion Parent Meeting 

A Parent information meeting for the French Immersion Program will be on Thursday, February 16th at 6:00pm at Fox Hollow Elementary. All incoming 1st grade students are eligible to apply. Applications can be picked up in the main office.

SEND IN BOX TOPS!!

Our school participates in the Box Tops fundraising program. Box Tops can be found on hundreds of products.

Simply cut out the Box Tops for Education Coupon off the product and send the Box Tops to your school. Students can give them to their teachers or they can be dropped off in the main office. Box Tops are each worth 10¢ for your school. Last year Fox Hollow raised $1273.60, in Box Tops and we have set our goal for $2,000 this year.


Dear Parents and Guardians,

Beginning today for tracks A and B and March 9th – 27th for tracks C and D, our school will be administering a school climate survey.  All parents/guardians and students second grade and higher are being invited to participate.

The purpose of this survey is to gather input about the school climate and the effectiveness of the teachers and administrators at our school.  Responses are anonymous and no personal information will be collected.  Reports will be made available for teachers and administrators to use in their school improvement efforts.  The survey is short, taking less than ten minutes to complete.

During the survey window, a link to the survey will be available on our school’s website.  Our schools website address is http://foxhollow.jordandistrict.org/  There will also be computers available at our school on March 19th and 20th 4pm-8pm.  The survey will be available in both English and Spanish.

Students will take the surveys during school time.  The first page of the survey allows the responder to opt out of the survey by clicking “I do not wish to take the survey.”  If you do not want your child to take the survey, your child may opt out at the time of administration or you may contact the office.

It is important that we obtain an accurate list of all children qualifying for kindergarten in the Jordan School District for the 2015-2016 school year.  We need to report this information to the district by January 25th.  If you have a child that will be five years of age on or before September 1, 2015, the child qualifies for next year’s kindergarten program.  State law requires that all school districts in Utah abide by the same September 1st entrance cut off date.  You will be required to provide the child’s immunization record and a certified birth certificate.

PTA General Board Meeting

PTA Liaison

Hello Parents,
During the school year the PTA does a few activities that require help from large amounts of parents.  These activities usually require 1-2 parents from each class.  We know how busy our teachers are and we, as a PTA, hate to keep bothering them to supply us with volunteers.  So this year we are going to try something new!  We are looking for one parent from each class to be our PTA Liaison.  This  PTA Liaison will assist us in  the following…

  • Organize, gather donations, and assemble a gift basket from your class for our Fundraiser in September
  • Help find a volunteer for Jr Achievement
  • Help decorate or find someone to help decorate the teachers door for teacher appreciation week in May
  • Help find 2-3 volunteers from your class for Field Day at the end of the year.

This is a fun and pretty easy way to get involved with the PTA and your child’s class.  I know that sometimes it is hard to get in the classroom and volunteer due to work schedules or small children at home.  This is something that can be done from home on your own time.  If you are interested in volunteering for your child’s class or have questions, please email Melissa Canning at canning_md@hotmail.com.

Spirit Night!!

This Tuesday night, September 16th is our first Spirit Night! We will be holding it at Chick Fil A in Jordan Landing from 5:30 to 7:30. 20% of all proceeds raised comes back to the school.
